Previous Boss: Ela Ela Next Boss: Sulligalan
Shroomie, an Earth-elemented Leif Divine Beast, appears as a boss a total of three times throughout Jade Cocoon 2. Here are all the times players can encounter Shroomie as a boss.
Groundwork 4[]
The last boss encounter that is a Divine Beast (until the mid-level Kalma Crystal Guardians) in the Earth Forest is Shroomie, a Leif Divine Beast. This boss is more balanced with an emphasis in Spirit, once again, making spells difficult to use against it. However, it is very slow, so players will be very likely to move first, unless maybe they have a team full of Ogs.

If memory serves Flossome right, then the ogrevine which contains this encounter for Shroomie will contain the Keyspore upon defeat. Don't quote him on it, though.
Dustup 6[]
Shroomie has a chance to be encountered randomly, along with a chance to encounter Amorg, Ela Ela, or Sulligalan.
Although this is a later encounter, Shroomie still only has less than double its Speed when first encountered in Groundwork.

Trivia[]
- Despite being very powerful in Dustup, it still uses Psycho Attack (B). Why it never got upgraded to Psycho Crash (S) is anybody's guess.
- The Dustup encounter is the most powerful random encounter in the Earth Forest, without a doubt. A single Tackle against any low-Vitality beast is basically guaranteed death.
- Shroomie's Dustup encounter has the highest spirit out of any boss in the game, while Sulligalan's Dustup encounter has the highest Vitality out of any boss in the game.
