Sapiate is a Wind-type magic spell from Jade Cocoon 2. It reduces the enemy's speed stat by 100%* for 3 turns.
Sapiate (as well as all other magic, minus Maldiard) can be stopped by Skill Bind, making the beast in question unable to use it and use a standard attack instead.***
The opponent's speed stat can also be decreased by use of a Meek Book, decreasing them for one turn. The Heavy Step jewellery can also decrease the opponent's speed.
